My Mission

Conscious Speech Therapy is led by, Lesly Ocotitla, M.A., CCC-SLP, a certified pediatric speech-language pathologist. I’ve had the joy of working one-on-one with many families across Los Angeles in their homes, helping children learn to imitate sounds and words, use new words, combine words, engage in back-and-forth interactions, and play in ways that support learning and communication. I also guide parents on how to follow their child’s lead, encourage joint attention, and make everyday moments, like playtime and book reading, opportunities for language growth.

My goal is to share what I’ve learned and what has worked for other families so you can continue these strategies at home. You are your child’s biggest communication supporter, and I’m here to help you feel confident in that role.

  • Call me at 323-205-5023 or email me to talk about your child’s concerns and check your insurance coverage or fill out the client form, and I will check your insurance coverage before I schedule your first session or evaluation.

  • I specialize in working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers from birth to 5 years of age.

  • Conscious Speech Therapy proudly serves families in Echo Park, Koreatown, Beverly Hills, and Downtown Los Angeles, and provides virtual speech therapy for children anywhere in California.

  • I provide speech therapy in person, either in your home, at your child’s daycare or school, or virtually.

  • I offer 30-minute, 45-minute, and 60 minute sessions. Clients are seen anywhere from 1-2 times per week.

  • I accept most major insurance plans, including Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, Cigna, Tricare, and UnitedHealthcare.

    Services are also available through the Frank D. Lanterman and Westside Regional Centers, as well as for private-pay clients.

    We bill out of network benefits for all other insurances.

  • We will check your coverage before we schedule your first session or evaluation so you can make an informed decision about any out-of-pocket expenses.

  • In-Home Speech Therapy Rates:

    • $160 - 60 minute session

    • $120 - 45 minute session

    • $80 - 30 minute session

    Evaluation Rates:

    • $370 total - includes either an in-person or virtual comprehensive speech-language assessment with formal report and treatment plan

    • $200- includes either an in-person or virtual informal speech-language assessment without formal report, JUST treatment plan.

  • I accept credit, debit, HSA, and FSA cards. I can set up automatic payments for each session to allow for a seamless billing process.
